How often should you check the boiler pressure?
Every three months. It goes on the list when you tell it the boiler has a pressure gauge.
What it actually is, and what shifts it
Most sealed systems want the gauge somewhere around one bar cold, and the manual on the front of your boiler says which. Pressure that keeps dropping is a leak somewhere in the system, not a boiler that needs topping up every fortnight.
Put it on a list that reminds you
“Check the boiler pressure”, every three months. Tick it when it is done and the next date is counted from that day, not from when it was due.
