How often should you bleed the radiators?
Once a year. It goes on the list when you tell it there are radiators.
What it actually is, and what shifts it
A radiator that is hot at the bottom and cold at the top has air trapped in it, and air is not what the boiler is trying to heat. That is what bleeding it lets out — and it is why the pressure gauge wants checking afterwards.
Put it on a list that reminds you
“Bleed the radiators”, once a year. Tick it when it is done and the next date is counted from that day, not from when it was due.
