What it actually is, and what shifts it
The ring round a bath is soap scum — soap plus the minerals in hard water — and it is alkaline, so an acid shifts it. Anything with citric or acetic acid in it, or a cut lemon, and no scourer near an acrylic bath unless you want it matt.
Put it on a list that reminds you
“Scrub the bath”, weekly. Tick it when it is done and the next date is counted from that day, not from when it was due.
