What it actually is, and what shifts it
Washing-up liquid works by having one end of each molecule cling to grease and the other end to water, which is why hot water and a couple of minutes of soaking does most of a burnt pan. Filling it and leaving it is not laziness, it is the method.
Put it on a list that reminds you
“Wash up before bed”, every day. Tick it when it is done and the next date is counted from that day, not from when it was due.
